Original Blender motion study · Right-hand shake, frames 89–160 at 24 fps. Reframed for this portfolio; procedural hand rig.
Game in development / A motion study

The object moves.
The grip has to follow.

I am exploring a mobile game built around shaking and passing objects. These are editable Blender studies for the objects, grips and motion. They are not final game assets.

The work behind the motion

Check the contact,
frame by frame.

The studies cover pickup, right- and left-hand shaking, throws and catches. I used frame-by-frame inspection to work on how the hand meets each object and how it holds on through the movement.

The clip above shows the original right-hand shake. Play it when you want to look closer.

Seven objects in the study
  • Sports shaker
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Soda can
  • Spray can
  • Honey jar
  • Maraca
  • Potion bottle

Different silhouettes need different grips. The maraca is held by its handle; the honey jar has a wider body.

What still needs work

A prototype, with clear limits.

The hands are procedural and the anatomy needs refinement. Phone motion input, final sound and haptics are not connected yet. The animation is authored motion, not a completed physical simulation.
